Dr. Stephanie AuBuchon, PhD, NCSP

Education: Doctorate degree and Master’s degree in School Psychology from Illinois State University. Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Nationally Certified School Psychologist.

 

Client Base: Dr. AuBuchon specializes in working with young children through adolescents, and their families. She provides comprehensive evaluations to this population to help them find the correct diagnosis and help them plan their treatment course to meet their goals. She also provides individualized therapy to children, adolescence, and their families for behavioral, school, and social emotional concerns. Additionally, she enjoys consulting with parents and schools on how to best support their children. 

 

Therapeutic Approach: Dr. AuBuchon likes to build a strong working relationship by having strong rapport that leads to trust. She ensures that her therapy space provides an open, kind, and encouraging place for her clients to grow and develop skills to overcome their obstacles. As for her evaluation sessions, she prefers to make the testing sessions as fun and stress free as possible by taking breaks with games and her clients preferred hobbies.
