Education: Ms. Litz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s of Arts degree from Loyola University Chicago in Pastoral Counseling. She received her undergraduate degree from Calvin College in Communications.
Client Base: Ms. Litz works primarily with adults and adolescents. She has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings doing individual, couples and family therapy as well as facilitating groups. Her areas of interest include working with those who have anxiety, depression, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, relational issues and those going through life transitions.
Therapeutic Approach: Ms. Litz approaches each individual, couple or family as being unique and utilizes techniques that work toward accomplishing identified goals. For some that might mean very specific and directed therapeutic approaches and for others it is providing a place to be comfortable to address and process current and past struggles. She provides a warm, caring environment that focuses on managing anxiety/depression/etc. in a healthy and productive way.
