Ms. Mayes is a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor.
Client Base: Ms. Mayes has worked in variety of settings providing inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient therapeutic services. Ms. Mayes has an extensive background working with adults struggling with substance abuse issues. Ms. Mayes conducts therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She has a passion for helping clients find and understand their true
potential. Her goal in therapy is to give her clients knowledge and tools that will
allow them to succeed in life.
Therapeutic approach: Ms. Mayes is a supportive and client-oriented therapist with a flexible and adaptive attitude, a passion for people and a desire to help children and teens, survivors of all types of abuse, individuals and families suffering from trauma or from drug, alcohol or behavioral addictions, and individuals seeking to reach their full aspirations through internal introspection and psychotherapy. In therapy Ms. Mayes utilizes Mindfulness approach along with Expressive, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
