Carolina Manrriquez, LCSW

Education: Ms. Manrriquez received her Bachelors of Arts in Applied Psychology Concentration at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).  She received her Masters in Social Work at Jane Addams College of Social Work (UIC). She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work.

 

Client Base: Ms. Manrriquez has over 4 years of experience working with children and families involved in Child Welfare with Intact Family Services and 2 years as a Bilingual Clinician in the southside of Chicago. She worked with a diverse population facing a variety of challenges/barriers, mental health concerns, and stages of life.

Therapeutic Approach: Ms. Manrriquez's therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients tailoring interventions to meet each client’s needs and goals. She believes in fostering self-awareness, autonomy and resilience. Ms. Manrriquez strives to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel respected and supported through their healing and growth empowering them to gain insight, new coping skills, confidence and feel in control of their lives.
