Education & Licensure: Dr. Christina Bailey is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Bailey received a B.A. in Psychology from University of Iowa and M.A. and Psy.D from Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Client Base: Dr Bailey has over 18 years of experience in school settings and special education settings, working with many local districts. Additionally she has worked in hospitals, therapeutic schools, private practice. Dr. Bailey utilizes a cognitive-behavioral strengths based approach. She specializes in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, "perfectionist tendencies," Autism Spectrum Disorder, AD/HD, family issues, divorce, self-esteem, social and peer issues. Dr. Bailey has a long history of providing Neuropsychological/Psychological Evaluations and Autism Evaluations to provide diagnosis and recommendations for schools or treatment.
Therapeutic Approach: Dr. Bailey has a passion for helping people who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, which can lead to depressive/anxious symptoms, and poor coping skills. Dr. Bailey brings compassion, honesty, and humor into sessions, creating a safe, trusting space. She believes in resiliency as everyone has to work through challenges. She includes parents in her work with children as a crucial piece for consistency in communication, and navigating the increasing stressors kids face. On a personal note, Dr. Bailey is a mom, and can empathize with daily demands of family life. Areas of focus in her practice are therapy, and testing, with children, adolescents and adults.
