Mr. Alan Heigert
Alan J. Heigert, MS, LCPC holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. He has worked with a wide range of clinical and professional issues since completing his graduate program at George Williams College and the Family Institute of Chicago two-year certification program in marriage and family counseling. Throughout his career, he has worked successfully with couples, families, and youth from a family systems perspective utilizing many treatment strategies.
Mr. Heigert is well-known throughout Lake County for his therapeutic expertise with difficult-to-treat cases, for his service to the juvenile justice system and adult domestic violence and family courts, and for consultation with businesses and response to acute crisis intervention needs. In the legal realm, he has served on the panel of Lake County custody evaluators, provides Therapeutic Supervision services, and manages a Supervised Visitation program. In his work as an individual, couple, and family counselor, Mr. Heigert is committed to consistently and compassionately promote personality integration, effective communication, and nurturing relationships in whatever he does.
